Mr. Abayomi Orungbamade
Mr. Abayomi Orungbamade is the Program Manager for Entrepreneurship and Employability Wadhwani Operating Foundation. He supports College Entrepreneurship, Start-Up clubs, and TVET employability programs. He was the head, Business Development Services at the Africa Leadership Forum seconded on the Central Bank Entrepreneurship Development Project. He worked as a Business Development Manager with Tempo Starch and Glucose, a manufacturing company. Prior to the position as Business Development Manager, He worked as an Enterprise Development Specialist on the CBN-Entrepreneurship Development project in Lagos. He worked with the Royal Bank of Scotland as a Customer Service Adviser. He worked as New Business Administrator at Skandia Investments UK, an assets management company. Mr. Abayomi also worked with Fate Foundation as an Enterprise Promotions Coordinator. He is also trained on Gender Mainstreaming and Responsive Budgeting. Currently consults for The Africa Leadership Forum, The University of Ibadan SME Hub, and the Lagos State Board for Technical and Vocational Education. He runs a private capacity building enterprise called Un-Traperdev Resources.
He has also worked on various school auditing and evaluation projects leading to the strategic direction and performance enhancement of some mission-based schools in Lagos, as an implementing partner with Sycamore Edge, a capacity building and schools development organization.
He has a first degree in Business Administration from the AhmaduBello University Zaria and a post-graduate degree in Marketing Management from the Solent University in Hampshire, Southampton. He is an alumnus of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) on Strengthening Business Development Services for Industrial Promotions. He is also a capacity-building volunteer for the Youth Business Initiative (YBI). He is also a member of NACCIMA Youths, Ibadan Chapter.
